Panga Box Office Collections: The Kangana Ranaut starrer doubles up over Friday, does quite well on Saturday
After registering Rs. 2.70 crores on Friday, Panga showed major growth on Saturday as collections more than doubled up with Rs. 5.61 crores coming in. This was pretty much the need of the hour as well since Friday was below expectations. Considering the fact that there are merits in the film, it was prudent that this translates into added footfalls as well.
In the face of competition from Street Dancer 3D as well as Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior, a growth like this pretty much indicates that the content of Panga has been appreciated. Even if the growth been 50%-60%, it would not have been largely satisfactory since the start was low. That said, the film finds itself in a much better positioning now and even if there is around 50% growth today, the stage would be set for Panga to stay stable during the weekdays.
The film has collected Rs. 8.31 crores so far and now it is a given that Rs. 15 crores would be comfortably surpassed by the time the weekend is through. That means this Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari affair would find itself on a platform from where it can consolidate its status and then have a good run in time to come.
